HA??? Manga is art!!! How dare they... grrrrr.... I want to shave their faces of with my bare palms... > grrrr.... T_T huhuhu Those guys who told you that manga is not art has insulted all of us manga fans and artists and most of all, our work. DARN THEY! Their probably too gay to admit that manga's art sells more than their own art.
Its called art-envy...
I hate art-envy-eists!
They should learn to appreciate and accept other people's style of art and not theirs.
Its like what happened to Vincent Van Gough.
I want to kick their butt for saying that.

I dont think that its difficult to have a manga published there though, since you have the internet and TOKYOPOP. Yep... try going to the TOKYOPOP website, send them a message that you want your manga puiblished (tell them that you have faith in your artwork artwork and storyline/characters--->its important that you do so!) and then, post atleast a four (public) to six chapter/whole (only for tokyopop) preview of your art. ^_^

uhm... you can also try shonen jump but thats too difficult to get in.

My uncle says that in order for you to get your manga in Shonen JUMP you have to wrestle with other artist fans, manga and storyline critics and ofcourse the editors. ^___^

Tokyopop is good! You should try submitting your manga-art to them.

Its good that you didnt enter that art class since you might have ended up become like those twisted artists. ^___^

i'm happy with the miya-artist you are! Dont be like those people in the art-class who denied that manga is art.

You will learn more techniques and you will get better with what you are good at until you finally reach a point where you have drawn so many great things and people will ask, "How did Miya draw all that! Thats difficult and excellent art!!!" ^___^
